Is My Photo Keyboard free?
Yes. The base app is free. Optional premium theme packs and an ad-free tier are available as in-app purchases.
Is it safe?
When installed from the Google Play Store or the developer's official site, yes. Avoid third-party APK mirrors, which often repackage apps with unwanted code.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Typing, themes, photo backgrounds, emoji and stickers all work without an internet connection.
What Android versions are supported?
Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and later.
Does it support my language?
60+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Hindi, Arabic, Russian and Chinese.
Can I use my own photos?
Yes — any image from your gallery.
Will it drain my battery?
Static photo backgrounds add roughly 1% extra drain in a normal day. Animated themes use more — disable them on older phones.
Does it upload my keystrokes?
No. Autocorrect runs on-device. Cloud features (such as sync) are opt-in and clearly labeled.
Why are my keys hard to read on a photo background?
Pick a less busy photo, or apply a light blur from Adjust → Blur.
How do I uninstall?
Long-press the app icon and tap Uninstall. Android falls back to your previous keyboard automatically.
Can I sync settings across devices?
Yes, optionally, via the in-app cloud sync feature. It is off by default.
Does it support tablets?
Yes — phones, tablets and most foldables.
Does it work on Chrome OS?
Partially. It installs and works inside Android apps but does not theme the Chrome OS shell.
Can I disable autocorrect for specific apps?
Yes, via per-app dictionaries in Settings → Typing.
Are the fonts real fonts?
They are Unicode character substitutions, so they render identically on the recipient's device regardless of which keyboard they use.
